HDTV
Hi-Definition TeleVision. Also known as Hi-Def TV.
HDTV refers to several technologies that work together to provide a higher quality video signal. HDTV is offered from satellite providers, cable providers, and over the airwaves from local TV stations.
To watch HDTV requires an HDTV signal, an HDTV tuner, an HDTV capable television, and special cables. Even if a product is labeled as "HDTV ready" - this does not mean it can properly display HDTV signals. Many inferior products are limited to normal TV signals, but claim to be HDTV ready. eMagine Technology Systems puts all products we sell through thorough testing and only sell those products that are of the highest quality.
Home Automation
Technologies that enhance your home by automatically performing tasks
Automation is a set of technologies that work together to help automate daily activities. A simple example is a coffe maker that turns on exactly 30 minutes before your alarm goes off, even if you change the alarm's time. More complex examples include automated lighting that turns on when you enter a room, and turns off after you are gone for a while.
